Science Fact of the Week (9/20/17)

We say the Pledge of Allegiance to our country almost every morning to show that we are committed to it as citizens. Today, I’d like to pledge my allegiance – or commitment – to our planet. Please stand and join me as I recite a pledge of allegiance to our planet:

I pledge allegiance to the Earth of our beloved solar system,
and to all of her creatures
the big and the small
One Planet,
united in harmony
with universal love and compassion
for all.
