Science Fact of the Week (9/13/17)

Have you noticed that the evenings and mornings are getting chillier and chillier?
That’s because we are approaching the AUTUMNAL EQUINOX. This year it will occur next Friday September 22nd.
That’s when the earth’s axis is parallel to the sun and the northern and southern hemispheres receive the same amount and angle of sun rays.
It also marks the first day of fall and the beginning of the trek into winter!
