The WATER CYCLE... in your Bathroom!?

<<<<That's an ACTUAL SHOWER CURTAIN!

That's right! You can see the water cycle at work every time you take a shower! Evaporation? Well, if you like your showers HOT, then most likely you've seen the steam. That's visible water vapor the air! The liquid water comes out of your faucet so hot that it begins to evaporate into steam (water vapor) right away.
Condensation? Dripping, Foggy Mirrors! The water vapor in the air touches the cool surface of the mirror and begins to condense, turning from a gas back into a liquid. When it starts to drop down the mirror, well, that's about as close as you'll get to precipitation in your bathroom!
Runoff? The water that rolls or streams across your shower floor is runoff. It "runs off" toward the drain. Ever seen the water in your tub pool into little puddles? Well, if you have you've seen accumulation! The water has gathered (or accumulated) into those little puddles.
Sooooooo, the next time you take a shower (I hope it's soon...) be sure to think SCIENTIFICALLY and OBSERVE what is going on around you! It's a good way to study without even realizing it.
