- I can post my family letters on the site and simply send the link to parents. Ideally, at the start of each new school year, I can request students/families to subscribe to my Blog by visiting it and putting their email into the SUBSCRIPTION WIDGET at the bottom of the blog! That way, any time I update it or write a new posts, families will be notified.
- I can use the blog to start discussions with my students about learning in the real world. I can post questions and ask students to add their thoughts through the comments. I have it set so that comments need to be approved by me before they post - that way, I can prevent any negativity that could arise form disagreements. I'd like to help my students learn to disagree with each other in a respectful way.
- I can have STUDENTS update the blog after a particularly exciting lesson. That way, they can communicate their excitement about learning to their parents (who have subscribed) in real time! I can't wait to get started!
Come learn about the world through exploration, experimentation, and inquiry.

Hi. I really like the idea of having the students use the blog as a follow-up to a project or classroom discussion. Great idea! John heidenrich
